Our Conservation Partner LAGA Wildlife Law Enforcement managed yesterday to get 3 ivory dealers arrested in Cameroon with 24 tusks, mostly of very young elephants.
PLEASE re-post and support their very important activities in Central Africa: www.LAGA-Enforcement.org
The LAGA model is currently operating in 6 countries: Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), Central African Republic (CAR), Gabon, Guinea Conakry and Togo.
In 2012 a total of 320 investigation missions were carried out in 10 regions.
We congratulate LAGA’s team for their continue effort on the ground amid a very difficult and dangerous working environment.
